Vacation Department Travel Consultants

Tangerine Travel's vacation consultants specialize in Australia, the South Pacific, cruises, Hawaii, Ireland, Mexico, and much more. They can help you with any of these destinations, along with domestic U.S. trips and even those hard-to-plan international vacations!

Charlie Brakebill, Department Manager
Charlie is a Washington native and has been in the industry both as an agent and an owner for more than 30 years. Charlie loves working with people and helping them plan their trips, whether it is the trip of a lifetime or just a round-trip airline ticket. She loves to travel and has taken her two children on many extended trips throughout their lives, which was one of her reasons to stay in the business. Charlie has been fortunate to travel to many destinations more then once, including Hawaii, Mexico, Guatemala, Great Britain, Europe, Africa, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Fiji, Australia, Alaska, Canada, the Caribbean and many of our own states. Her hobbies include skiing, gardening, tennis, the Mariners and her two college-aged children.

Kari Mollan
Kari has been in the travel industry since 1991 with an endless enthusiasm for honeymoons and family vacations, especially anything Disney! Specialties include all-inclusive resorts, cruises (she has been on more than 17 cruises) and pretty much anything sun, sand and sea. Kari loves spending her vacations traveling to theme parks (the crazier the better on the roller coasters) as well as beach vacations, cruises, etc. Kari's international travels include The Cook Islands, Fiji, Australia, Mexico, the Caribbean, Kenya, Singapore, Thailand and Europe. She has been to 48 states in the U.S. (missing Oklahoma and Arkansas) and is always ready to leave on her next adventure. Her "travel hero" is Jimmy Buffett and she lives by the quote "Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes". If you are ready for a fun-filled get-away, Kari is your agent!

Jim Hamilton
Jim is a Washington native and has been in the travel industry for 27 years. Having lived in Italy, he considers it a second home and Venice is his all-time favorite destination. In his wide travels, his focus is the regional food and the inevitable "characters" which he always seems to find. "Where would you really like to go, and what do you hope to bring back," are his normal opening questions for new clients. Unique destinations and learning experiences form the foundation of travel memories and Jim welcomes the challenge of planning a trip for you, "like no other". Spas, hiking, snowshoeing, bicycle adventures, cooking and language schools, or an Amazon boat trip are just a sampling of his offerings. He'll send you home loaded with information and a reading list you haven't experienced since college. Even a relatively routine Hawaii or Mexico vacation will get you the name of a restaurant or site, "you can't miss". Oh yeah, if you want to talk barbecue or Cajun culture, "Jimbeaux" is your boy.

Julie Ganak
Julie has been in the travel industry since 1981. She has had a career of many different facets within the industry, from leisure travel to corporate travel, manager, and head of a group department. Her specialties and passions are resort, golf and spa destinations as well as adventure travel. Julie has lead several mountaineering trips that have taken her to Nepal to climb the Annapurna mountain range, and to Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. Julie travels have taken her to Nepal, Kenya, Tanzania, Spain, England, France, the Netherlands, India, Mexico, Hawaii, Caribbean and all throughout the US and Canada. Julie has lived in the Pacific Northwest since 1989 and is raising two daughters. Her interests besides travel are tennis, golf, soccer, gardening, and decorating.

Pam Anderson
Pam brings 35 years of travel experience to Tangerine Travel. She has spent her first years in the travel industry working as a flight attendant and reservations agent for United and Alaska Airlines. The past 28 years as a travel consultant has included ten years as owner of a local travel agency. Her travels have taken her from Australia, one of her favorite places, to Korea, Ireland, France, England, Germany, Africa and many other “faraway lands”.  Her most recent trip was to Italy!!  She has also traveled extensively in the U.S., Mexico and Canada and has been on at least a dozen cruises...so far! Pam and her husband, Steve, will soon celebrate their 29th anniversary and have two children, Mackenzie and Kristian.  Last year at this time Pam was helping plan her daughter's wedding to Zane in August of 2007.  Pam and Steve's son is serving in the US Army and has recently returned from his second deployment in Iraq. Pam and Steve also have a four-year-old grandson, Gavin, who has become their latest passion. Besides assisting friends and clients with travel dreams, Pam enjoys quilting with friends, cooking, decorating and entertaining.

Peggy Greene
Peggy comes to Tangerine Travel with over 35 years experience of selling vacation travel.  Her passion since her youth has been outdoor adventure.  She has skied every major ski resort in the western US and Canada.  She took up whitewater rafting several years ago to overcome her fear of water. Since then Peggy has joined rafting expeditions on rivers such as the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, the Urumbamba in Peru, the Ayung in Bali and the Sarapiqui in Costa Rica.  She added sea kayaking to her list of outdoor sports a few years ago.  Peggy has climbed in the Grand Tetons, mountain biked in Nepal, hiked the Inca Trail and even run pack trips in the Wyoming wilderness.  In 2000, Peggy really put her skills to the test when she joined the Peace Corps for 2 1/2 years in a Jordanian village in the mountains above the Dead Sea.  If outdoor adventure is what you are seeking, you will find no more knowledgeable agent than Peggy Greene.
